Puppets in Performance

Did you know? 1 in 4 children in America grow up without learning how to read. Libraries are our greatest defense against illiteracy, but more so, they provide the community with valuable resources they may not otherwise have access to.

Sponsored by Raion Zou Holistic Healing and Veronica White of Stoops Ferry Productions, join us in welcoming Puppets in Performance a children's theatre ensemble. The show will take place in the downstairs resource room at the Coraopolis Memorial Library.

“Critters” is a puppet show of original, humorous skits and songs featuring fuzzy woodland creatures. Intended for all audiences, it teaches about the habits of our furry friends, while making you laugh, too. You'll see a skunk trying to sell perfume, a possum teaching a cat about defense, a hungry wolf, a “magic” beaver, and more.

Puppets in Performance was founded in 2011 by Darlene Fedele Thompson. Thompson’s work has twice won the award for “Best Children’s Show” at the Pittsburgh Fringe Festival.

Be sure to check the Coraopolis Memorial Library for "critter" related books and actvities that day.

Free and open to the public.
