Coraopolis Community Black History Observance

Annually, the Borough of Coraopolis celebrates African American History Month by recognizing members of the Coraopolis Community we wish to honor.

April 4, 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee.  This year, we also meet to reflect upon the legacy of this great American.

Join us on February 14th at 6:15 p.m. at the Coraopolis Municipal Building located at 1301 Fourth Avenue as the Coraopolis Community presents:

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Last Speech, Recognition of Coraopolis' Oldest Citizens, and free homemade Valentine's Day takeway dinners!
